Wilson Staff DuoSoft Review:

The Wilson Staff golf ball was a favorite of mine a long time ago, long before we started this channel, so when I saw the DuoSoft in the store the other day, I just knew I had to give them a try.

Wilson Staff DuoSoft Golf Ball Review

The Duosoft is marketed as the worlds softest golf ball, for me that's not always a good thing, a really soft golf ball is something a lot of golfers seem to want but, in my experience, the really soft ball ends up being no good for my game in the long run.

Wilson Staff DuoSoft Golf Ball Review

The WIlson Staff Duosoft bucks that trend, it became really apparent to me after only a few shots that this is my kind of golf ball, firstly its long off the tee, I’m not the longest hitter in the world, a good drive can go 240-250 meters, with a soft ball I assumed I would lose some of that distance, but I was pleasantly surprised, not only was it long but it was also straight.

So not losing any distance was certainly a plus, then there was the obvious upside of a soft golf ball, they are great around the green, I played two rounds of golf with this ball, just to make sure it wasn't just a good round I played and to test it on different conditions.

What I learned across those two rounds was that the ball fits my game really well, in the first round I made three birdies (rare for me) not only that, but I backed it up the next round, driving a 247-meter par 4.

Wilson Staff DuoSoft Golf Ball Review

Pound for pound you are not going to find many golf balls that represent the value of the Wilson Duosoft at the price point, it’s not going to be the ball for the top range player but for the rest of us, its fantastic value.
