45 minutes from Melbourne, on the way to Ballarat is the tiny but beautiful town of Ballan, not far from the town centre is one of the best value golf courses in the region, the Ballan Golf Course, at $20 a round this course is well worth the drive and you'll be surprised how great some of the holes are.
